The Z Fold inner screen is expensive — can I just replace the protective layer?
If only the protective layer is peeling and the display itself works, yes — we can re-apply the layer. But if pixels are dying or the screen is unresponsive, the protective layer won't help — the full display needs replacement.
My Z Fold hinge is stiff — can it be fixed?
Usually it's just dust inside the mechanism — we can clean it. If a spring is broken or the hinge is bent, we replace individual hinge components.
How long does a Z Fold repair take?
Standard inner screen replacement takes 2–4 hours (if the part is in stock). Complex hinge repair or water damage takes 1–3 days.
My fold crease has gotten worse — can it be fixed?
The crease itself is a normal feature of foldable displays and can't be removed entirely. But if pixels are dying along the crease or the screen is wearing through, replacement is needed.
